King County CAT Commitment Form

This form is for all active PROTEC17 King County members who are committing to serving on the coalition bargaining Contract Action Team (CAT). Please note that there are three King County units that are not bargaining their contract with the coalition (King County Transit: Admin, Chiefs, and Superintendents).
Our Contract Action Team (CAT) supports the bargaining team by helping to coordinate action, share information and provide feedback!

Encourage my fellow union members to participate in actions and discussions related to bargaining to support our priorities at the table
Help make contract negotiations visible by distributing union gear (stickers, zoom backgrounds, etc.,)
Help collect member stories about contract provisions and proposals
Identify and recruit leaders to join the CAT from different departments/classifications
Meet regularly to get updates about bargaining sessions, provide feedback on proposals, and plan actions to support the negotiations
Work with the bargaining team to communicate our Union priorities at the bargaining table as well as management’s responses and/or resistance
