Join your union siblings at the City of Portland (including members from the City of Portland Professional Workers Union/CPPW and LiUNA/Laborers’ Local 483) for a family-friendly union sign making and solidarity event on Sat., Aug. 29 from 1-4 p.m. If you are unable to stay for the full time, no worries! Drop in when you can. We will gather at Creston Park (SE 43rd & Powell Blvd). If you are driving, it is recommended to do so at the lot on 43rd and Rhone. We’ll make signs for our practice picket (Sept. 2), practice picket chants, learn about the hows and whys of picketing, and have a school supply drive! Please bring a water bottle.
