On Sept. 13, PROTEC17 members and staff rallied at Starbucks headquarters in Seattle alongside Starbucks Workers United (SWU) and many other unions to call out the union busting that’s been happening as new stores look to organize. The rally coincided with the corporate giant’s annual shareholders’ meeting, and drew over 500 union members to SODO in the early morning hours to disrupt business as usual.
