Important Voting Dates & Deadlines

  • April 28, 2026 – Last day for Oregon State voters to register to vote online or change party affiliation. Registration cards postmarked by this date or submitted online no later than 11:59 p.m. are valid.

  • April 29, 2026 – First day ballots are mailed to Oregon State voters.

  • May 19, 2026 – Oregon State Primary Election
    County Clerk’s offices open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Ballots must be received at an official drop site or drop box by 8 p.m. Last day for voter to return ballot. Ballots that are mailed must be postmarked by election day.

  • July 17, 2026 – In Washington State, ballots are mailed out and Accessible Voting Units (AVUs) are available at voting centers.

  • July 27, 2026 – For Washington State, online and mail registrations must be received 8 days before Election Day. Register to vote in person during business hours and any time before 8 p.m. on Election Day.

  • Aug. 4, 2026 – Washington State Primary Election
    In Washington State, ballots must be received in an official drop box by 8 p.m. Today is also the deadline for in-person only voter registration or updates.
