Important Voting Dates & Deadlines

Oregon:

  • Oct. 13, 2026 – The last day to register to vote. Registration cards postmarked by this date or submitted online no later than 11:59 p.m. are valid.

  • Oct. 14-20, 2026 – General Election ballots are mailed out.

  • Nov. 3, 2026 – General Election

    County Clerk’s office is open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. This is also the last day for voters to return their ballots. Mailed ballots must be postmarked by election day. Ballots deposited in an official drop box must be received by 8 p.m. on election day.

Washington:

  • July 17, 2026 – Ballots are mailed out and Accessible Voting Units (AVUs) are available at voting centers.

  • July 27, 2026 – Online and mail registrations must be received 8 days before election day. Register to vote in person during business hours and any time before 8 p.m. on election day.

  • Aug. 4, 2026 – Primary Election
    Ballots must be received in an official drop box by 8 p.m. Today is also the deadline for in-person only voter registration or updates.

  • Oct. 16, 2026 – General Election ballots are mailed out and Accessible Voting Units (AVUs) are available at voting centers.

  • Nov. 3, 2026 – General Election

    Ballots must be received in an official drop box by 8 p.m. and in-person only voter registration or updates must be done by this day.
