DESCRIPTION:The Future of Work Member Action Committee is currently only for members of the Seattle\, King County\, KCRHA\, and Sound Transit chapters. \nFrom the 8-hour work day to the creation of weekends\, to protective labor laws\, unions have fought and won improvements in our workplaces – because members fought together. For many\, our work lives have evolved significantly over the last few years. What does the future of work look like for you? Join your fellow union members to brainstorm\, collaborate\, and strategize how we can evolve the Future of Work together. \nPlease Note: Meetings are typically every first Thursday at 12 p.m.\, however January’s meeting will take place on Fri.\, Jan. 17 to accommodate for the holidays and out of respect for the memorial for ATU 587 member Shawn Yin. \nInterested in joining?
