DESCRIPTION:Join other Seattle-based union members and Labor partners for an in-person workshop on April 2 to explore key historical events\, concepts\, and ideologies that underpin the current round of violence in Gaza\, and the occupied Palestinian territories. \nIn collaboration with MLK Labor Council\, this workshop will be an opportunity to bring your experiences\, thoughts\, and questions forward. \nPlease come prepared to participate\, ask questions\, and listen to each other — we will be using each other’s knowledge and inquiry to strengthen our own thinking around the context and the conflict. \nPlease note that the event is space limited. To provide both a safe and impactful experience\, we are capping this teach-in at 75 people. We acknowledge that unexpected life circumstances arise and just ask that you are mindful about registering for the event with commitment.
