DESCRIPTION:This workshop is presented by the United Way of King County as part of their Advancing Racial Equity event series. \nJoin us to hear from Nicole Lynn Lewis about her own personal experiences and the importance of college completion. \nNicole is the co-founder and CEO of Generation Hope and author of the memoir\, Pregnant Girl. Lewis is a former teen mother who put herself through the College of William & Mary with her three-month old daughter in tow. Nicole now works every day to change the statistic that less than 2% of teen mothers will earn their degrees before the age of 30. \n
